Kingston Riverside SPDArcadian Thames

The Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) commissioned KLA to produce a Supplementary Planning Document which will inform the future of development along the Arcadian Riverfront.

A base line study of the existing conditions was undertaken alongside public engagement with key stakeholders to inform the SPD. A thorough understanding of the existing town centre and borough wide policies informed the development of the vision and principles for the SPD. The document has been developed in collaboration with Alan Baxter and Justinien Tribillion and will be available for statutory public consultation in Summer 2017.

Concurrently, a public realm design guide has been produced to inform land owners, developers and designers of best practice for future planning proposals within the various character areas along the Kingston Riverside.
